Okay, same as 'synth materials', for rearming and stuff.

Anyway, I couldn't know as I never tried one alone.

Yeah, AXCZs, if not next to a station, are kind of synth-heavy, you need ammo, heatsinks, AFMU refills, limpets, all that. Even the Titan sieges require a heckload of heatsinks and AXMR ammo refills. By the way... I'm defending humanity from the angry piss daisies, why shouldn't I have those mats for free, if that's what I need to keep fighting longer? :p

On a serious note: yup, that'd be the best way for me to spend Arx bc I don't even know what I need them for. There's nothing interesting for me in the Arx shop.

p.s. Or I'd like to spend some Arx to ban Pee Mk2 commercials on my carrier. :p

For those wanting to add the Anti-Guardian Zone Resistance mods to their guardians modules, the hardest components to get (for me at least) are Tactical Core Chips. Well worry thee not, I found this great video which makes it an easy job.

System: Mapon
Body: 6a
Settlement: Pelissier's Command

I used an Orca, as speed really helps breaking away from the Interceptors. I fly in, dump some AX missiles, loot, and then jump out. Rinse and repeat. This guy hung around a little too long in the video for my taste, you have to be a patient farmer. You can be in and out in a minute.

One thing to note, my sensors weren't finding any loot, but my collector limpet was. Don't know if this is a new bug or something but radar and Contacts was showing nothing. Oh, and lure the Reverants out from the base a little, otherwise your limpets can crash into the buildings.

There being no Banshee really helps, I did go down the killing them on foot route at other bases, but it was a real chore.

I hope this helps someone, and thanks to Ortmazar for finding this gem of a base. Happy Farming!

Pfff, how many months has it been since the magical earthquake in Rhea and only now Frontier pull a Friday CG for it out of their backsides?

Yeah, I was surprised when all that happened and FDev didn't have one immediately. Then again, they've been shuffling their feet on the Federation Power transfer. Maybe the voting story line should have happened right before Power Play 2.0?

Noob question to the miners: how do you manage to stop flying to and scanning asteroids even though they are already exhausted?

Thanks in advance for your answers! Elite: Game talk | Starfield | INARA (5)

I select the next nearest hot-spot and fly towards it. This means I'm always moving in the same direction so I don't start going around in circles and scanning asteroids I've already mined.

Yeah . I keep the host planet to my left or right with the light behind me , that way i'm always going inthe same direction and any mined asteroids go behind me. Also any prospector limpets will show up on the scanner , so keep those behind you as well. Elite: Game talk | Starfield | INARA (9)

Agreed. Pick a reference point that works for you. I tend to fly toward the planet since it does not matter what your roll angle is if the planet is always in front of you. However I will switch to something similar to Jarge if I am finding slim pickings with my usual "planet forward" approach.

95% of my mining is core mining, so if it a rock is not glowing yellow when I scan, I usually do not bother wasting a prospector limpet on it.

Ok, that at least confirms what I was trying to do. I probably just need to navigate with more concentration. I always try to approach the asteroids vertically to their axis of rotation so that I don't get caught by them or lose countless drones. And after the third auroral direction, I no longer know where I came from and I feel like a blind man in the forest. That's where a distant point of reference comes in handy. No matter how you twist and turn in the planetary ring, the planet is not going to move.

If you have not ram killed a Glaive after it disabled your weapons, you have not lived. Maybe.

I would help but I'm way out near Tir.

When I come across a black box in a monitored area and am asked to retrieve the data for them, how do I do that? I've tried scanning with everything I have but nothing will scan it. If I scoop it, they call me names and get mad...

What gives?
