John Travolta was beginning his Hollywood journey in 1976, when he met the Broadway actress Anita Gillette. It was his connection with her that they soon started a relationship. Though, it was a brief period till they moved on.

The couple first met in 1976, at the set of his debut TV movie, “The Boy in the Plastic Bubble.” It was said that Diana was his first true love and he was obsessed with her.

When she was told she had breast cancer, their relationship which had lasted four months broke down. Despite undergoing a mastectomy, her health kept growing worse.

3. Marilu Henner

Travolta had an on-and-off relationship with her throughout till they decided to move on finally. In November 1972, as he was getting ready for Grease, John met actress Marilu Henner. They supposedly fell in love right away, but since he was dating someone else, they didn’t go out together for more than a year.

4. Catherine Deneuve And Brooke Shields

While Travolta was still with Henner, his name was attached to other ladies in the city. He allegedly dated Deneuve, the American actress in 1980, and his romance with Brooke Shield who was a high-profile model started in 1981 and reportedly lasted for nearly eight months.

Kelly Preston and John Travolta first met each other on the sets of the popular film, “The Experts”. It was way back in the year 1980. The actress had a husband back then, actor Kevin Gauge. This didn’t stop the two from getting close to each other though and they started dating quite secretly.

Their attractiveness to each other was so much that it eventually caused a split from their previous partners. They continued to be close and then engaged in the year 1990. The following year in 1991, the couple finally tied the knot.

The couple’s first child was Jett, born shortly after they married. He was born in the year 1992. The couple faced quite some challenges since Jett was born autistic. The couple was blessed with another child, this time a daughter, whom they named Ella. It was around 8 years after their first child.

Everything was going along really well before a tragedy occurred when Jett lost his life. He reportedly had a seizure after his head was injured while he was taking a bath. His skull suffered serious injuries when it banged accidentally on the bathtub which caused him to lose consciousness. He eventually drowned in the water and died.
