It was an important step at a time when so many patients with the illness were being treated with stigma and prejudice rather than with the help and compassion they needed. Titled An Interview with HRH The Princess of Wales, it was broadcast on the 20th of November 1995 on BBC1. Diana spoke about several hard-hitting topics, from the Royal Family's distaste for her to the struggles she'd faced after having her babies.
